So, today I had to take the S14 over to the body shop because the rattling windows were finally starting to really get on my nerves. I left off on the last step with some really nasty orange peel on the clear coat. I really wanted to take care of that, so I ended up sanding the clear FLAT with some 1200-grit sandpaper. That was last night. The shower is a great place for wet sanding.

We left off at Part 1 with a really nasty primer coat. Well, not super nasty (it could have been worse) but definitely far from smooth. My latest project is to paint some of these Subaru body kit parts that one of the guys picked up from Craigslist. Since I really want to get better, I figure this will make some good practice.
