Cliffs
Rankings will follow Super Mario Kart rules. Win three events in a row and get an extra life. Points valued per event depend on how many Dreamer Soul members join that particular event. Last place starts at 1 point and each place better increases at a rising rate. To give you an idea of the rising rate, please see the following example:
In a 5-Person Race (last place will always be worth 1 point, and absence will always be worth 0 points):
Absent = 0 points
5th place = 1 point
4th place = 1 + 1*1 = 2 points
3rd place = 2 + 1*2 = 4 points
2nd place = 4 + 1*3 = 7 points
1st place = 7 + 1*4 = 11 points
As you can see, the multiplier increases as the number of attending members increases, and first place becomes worth more. As events pop up, everyone is encouraged to join to collect points. If any Dreamer Soul member will attend an event, it will count as an open invite for the rest of the members and will count for points. Please let someone know if you are attending an event, and it will be added to the schedule chart above.
Extra Life – 3 Wins in a Row
In Super Mario Kart, if you win 3 races in a row, you get an extra life. And you could use this extra life to retry a race that you did poorly on. Here though, your extra life will add points to your total score, based on the most valuable race that has happened so far. Your extra life will be worth the amount of points from 1st place in that race. So, for instance, if you earned an extra life, and the most valuable race that happened beforehand was worth 11 points, you’ll have that amount of points added to your total score.
