Eric's Best Expression
ok then test

Here’s the face Eric makes when it’s time to work on his car. Although gruesome, we must agree that this is how we all feel on the inside when it’s time to play the “mechanic game.” “What’s the ‘mechanic game,’ you say?” Well, it’s basically the game where we pretend we know everything about cars and end up braking more stuff than we repair or we repair the cars slower than ever anticipated.… Read the rest of this now >>

Peek-a-boo

It was a gay o’l time … it was a jolly good time.

The New Year has come and brought us another weekend of problematic install. What we thought would go somewhat smooth went and took a detour. Fear not… we managed to tackle them and finished the install.

Quick recap of how we got here…

I have acquired a 2000 Miata NB.… Read the rest of this now >>

Finally got a chance to use my new GoPro camera for some in-car footage at Grange. One of the most common mistakes that novice drifters make is not counter-steering fast enough. Every car is different, but here’s what works for me.… Read the rest of this now >>

New E-Brake Hardware for Z32 Rear Brake S14

I’d like to introduce you to my freshly-updated e-brake hardware. (Z32 300ZX e-brake mechanism on S14 240SX rear)

Draining the Fluid from Sharif's 350Z TransmissionUltra JDM Baller Guy Chin-Chin decided he wanted to pair a Nissan 350Z transmission with his SR20DET in his boro boro S13 build. What a cocky guy. Until this day, I had never seen a brand new transmission before. The first step of the process is to remove the bellhousing so it can be machined and reattached.… Read the rest of this now >>

One Expensive Box. V3 = No Tophats :(
By far the most expensive box I’ve opened in quite some time… Raj bought the KW V3 Coilovers, which have adjustable bump and separately adjustable rebound, making them a big notch above most of your bargain barrel made-in-taiwan suspensions. I just wish they came with their own tophats, but it looks like you need to buy the Club Sport model for that.… Read the rest of this now >>

Greddy GRacer Lip Repaired
Almost a year ago, I snapped my super sweet Greddy GRacer Lip in half 🙁 Shortly after, I decided to test my luck by JB Welding the pieces back together. Well, that didn’t work. I was just too bummed out to post an update about it. Since then, this glorious lip has sat, collecting dust in the garage.… Read the rest of this now >>

Torn Ball Joint on the S14Alright, so we’ve all been there. You go under your car to check some things out, and as you’re crawling out from there, you notice something nasty, and it’s not the gross chick that’s been stalking you around town — you notice a torn boot on one of your ball joints.… Read the rest of this now >>
